and the party......

I almost forgot to blog about our new years bash. The idea of having a pirate costume party was hatched upon and although people had comments about the dorkiness of this idea at first, in the end everyone became obsessed with the "pirates of the Caribbean" idea. With all the homes in Ireland invited we were sure to have a real Irish party. After a good amount of dancing, games, drinking and about five renditions of a loud and very off key Auld Lang Syne the party wound down at about five and everybody toddled off to their OWN beds!

Road Trip

Christmas time is upon us and since the towns around us have been thoroughly followed up upon it was time to spread our boundaries to not virgin, but definitely less used and abused territory. God Bless one of our friends who let us stay in his hotel free of charge for three days. We also were able to provision all our meals and not just McDonald's ! We ate at a Thai Restaurant, a Lunch House, a high class restaurant where there was deodorant and Cologne in the bathroom for your to use and everyday we had a beautifully reviving coffee in a classy little coffee house. Oh and that reminds me to plead with you all to have desperate prayer for me. Whilst on the road I gave into weakness and started drinking coffee (just to make the others feel better about their rotten habit : D) But now I’ve gone cold turkey and I have the worst headache and tiredness that has ever been experienced since I finished my toddler care ministry . Oh and last but not least I figured out that if we had to pay for our meals and hotel rooms it would have cost around 600 Euros cool no?

and more importantly (for Angelo) apple time!

Boxing

Usually boxing is thought of as a sport for sleazy Italian men who go by the stage name " The Italian Stallion " and drink eggs upon waking up in the morning. NOT ANYMORE! After discovering there was a sport where physical frustration could be legally vented ( and besides the fact that i don't have to pay for lessons ) i was quick to sign up. I know most of you are thinking that the sight of a 1.55 girl beating up guys is something to be chuckled over, go ahead i don't blame you. Well we'll see who is security next eurock ;D
looks like I'm ready to kill right ?

PJs

The last night with stefy and I had to have some sentimental photos to remember her by. It also happened to be my little sister's birthday so it was definitely time to get out the camera.

The Stefy Series........tourist

Before Stefy left we thought it would be nice to show her the historical sights of Ireland. Flor sweetly provisioned the trim castle ( if any of you want to see what it looks like watch braveheart for the 100th time). Then after provisioned coffee it was off to Dublin to play tourist for the day

The Stefy Series........ irish pub

In case you were wondering this is not an old series of Gns rebuking someone for entertaining the thought of eating white sugar. It is a little post about stefy who braved the rain and peat to visit us in Ireland. The first cultural experience was an Irish pub where Angelo and David tried desperately to teach us pool. Poor, unfortunate, souls did not realize that this would require more patience then potty training. And as for alcohol, Guinness is a beautiful word to me but apparently Italians regard it as a heathen drink fit only for … well the Irish!

she's got high hopes

and he was the one that didn't have anything to drink(and yes that's the middle of the road)
