I've been a prodigal son and deserted my blog for the riches of the real world. In family lingo that translates as "fund raising and traveling across Europe in a caravan overloaded with surfing equipment". I don't have time to go into the details of how we survived mentally and hygienically for 3 days in a car with a constant intake of red bull, coffee and a continuous output of undignified language aimed at the French road system. Let the pictures tell the story of my last 6 weeks of frivolous living ( ahem I wish)
first of all a spot of modeling (i.e. having your hair being made to look like a bunch of pubes by a hairdresser who thinks its all "gorgeous darling".)
had a touching family reunion
took on the man's role for nina's sake
made sarah's cake and blew out her candle
took loving, post-shepherding photos with emily ( only certain people will get this)
stayed with the frenchies and partook of their cheese
and feasted on vast amounts of junk food( hence the overjoyed preschooler face)

Besides the obvious fact of the 'gorgeous darling' thing being horribly cliche, you clearly don't think your hair looks like a bush of pubes if you proudly put that picture up first and are obviously reveling in the much-hoped-for attention it will garner you. Still, doesn't seem as if many people visit or take the time to comment on your blog, even all your 'wives' and 'hubbies' and 'lesbo partners' and young shiny-faced boys who want to get into your pants.

i published the above comment only because i believed in freedom of speech ( even if in this person's case its from the wrong end of the body ). nevertheless i will take the time to explain to his/hers dense little mind that the reason that picture was put up first was because the blog was done in order of sequence. in american which is obviously the only language you speak that means, " like man those photos were totally put up in the order that they happened." as for people visiting my blog the aim is not a popularity competition and i will pray for your confused little soul if that is the way you judge people. as for the title of my blog you obviously have never lived in ireland for a vast majority of time (another example of the continuous flow of verbal diarrhea coming out of that thing you call a mouth). and now for your whole attempt at a cool image by writing downright vulgar things about a person you probably don't even know very well, i have a couple of suggestion, either take acting lessons or go get a knife, run a warm bath, listen to greenday and do what come naturally after realizing what a complete and utter git you've made of yourself
Hmmmmmm Anonymous, looks like you don't have the guts to even reveal who you are, probably because we already know you and think you are a sorry excuse for a person to be writing such vulgar comments in the first place.
I happen to have lived with Rachel for some time and she is a genuine, sweet and unassuming girl who has more decency then allot of people her age with the type of beauty God has blessed her with. I also happen to know the place where she got asked to be a model and there were a hundred gorgeous photos that were taken and l'm surprised that she only posted one, and not even the nicest one by far, so that in itself shows me something. And yes believe it or not the guy did say "gorgeous darling" ALL the time!
Don't criticize people that you don't know well enough. as if you knew Rachel you would know without a doubt that she isn't the type to deck herself in makeup every day or even only post flattering pictures of herself (just look at her blog photos some of them are downright scary!)I will pray for you as you sound like you have some issues and taking them out on others is just immature and shows how little you truly are.
It's so sad to see how you guys tear each other down when there is a whole world out there that needs Jesus and His love and Spirit so desperately!! The only way we are going to win this war is if we fight it together! No wonder one of the 'ol' boys' favourite tactics is to tear down our unity. Come on guys, let's stop messing around and judging each other and face the real foe instead. Each one of us has enough faults and shortcomings to give the gossips a full time job until Jesus comes back and beyond, and I know you don't want to be caught in that crowd. Pray for the people that bug you instead of publicising their faults, that's how you can truly make a difference. Jesus needs you, there are so few with the training you have! No wonder the enemy is trying so viciously to get you to tear each other down. It's great to see you kick ass when you aim straight and get the right guy!! We need you!

I know there is freedom of speech but it seems this "toxic" person played on your sense fairness by adding the "I know you will surely delete this comment" thereby insuring the airing of their private slop.
How about "private property, trespassers keep out". I always delete these kind of comments on my blog.

hmmm... how come i never get any sour comments on my blog? ... oh, i know! i haven't posted in ages! perhaps i should write a new post and put up a good picture of myself and see if i'm lucky enough to get one :D i'll relish the moment when i'll be able to delete it :P
anyway, back on topic, you do look good Rachel :) and i absolutely agree with Merryehart.
c'mon anonym, if you're so brave to state your unloving thoughts about another person so boldly, why not be equally as bold and brave to show the face and say who you are? as a spanish proverb wisely says, too much noise but not much nuts.
let's all be more loving in our thoughts, comments and actions, let's all be more like Jesus, the moment we are, the world will be such a good place to live in!

Now it's time to give my holy opinion on this.....drum roll......
To be bluntly honest, I think Rachel could use with toning down on the crude comparisons and suicidal suggestions. But other than that, Rachel is Rachel, the way God made her, and no, God didn't make a mistake... both with Rachel and Ireland, and actually I think they're a good mix together because in order to keep sanity when living with Rachel, you have to live in a place like Ireland.

Yup. Pubes. Definately pubes. Gosh that anonymous person (the very first one, just to clarify) has got serious issues. I think that their head and the toilet bowl need to get aquainted.
